12 local primary schools have loaned us drawings, paintings, collage, printmaking and sculpture for this exhibition which offers inspiration to artists of all ages and brightens up the gloomy days of winter. This colourful and lively exhibition remains a firm favourite for local artists, local families and visitors.

Picasso recognised the freshness and vitality of children's art work when he said, 'Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up', and amongst the community of local artists in the South Hams many insist that Primary Colours is the highlight of the gallery year.

We’d like to thank our cheerful volunteers who help us with the hanging and stewarding of this exhibition, and we’d be delighted to hear from anyone who might be able to spare a few hours to help with this or future exhibitions. Click here for more information.
