A group of four artists who over the past three years have worked together, sharing ideas and perspectives.
The Spectra artists aim to offer a lively, colourful exhibition, with regular painting demonstrations throughout the week.

Louise Bougourd works in watercolour, inspired by the depth of colour to be seen in local scenery:
the sun setting over rivers and moorland, or reflections of a boat on dancing water.

Inspired by light and mood, Wendy Chudley layers colour and tone in her atmospheric land and sea scapes.
Other monochromatic works evoke the nostalgia of black & white photographs.

Christina Minty's decorative and richly coloured paintings chart her journey from realism to abstraction.

Cherry Lyons is an experimental watercolour, pastel and mixed media artist.
Unafraid of mixing the media, she allows the dynamic but unpredictable nature of watercolour
to provide the spontaneity that captures fleeting atmospheric moments in time.
