Maggie Smith

Sarah Harcus is currently working on a series of powerful and expressive pastel studies, exploring the Blackdown Rings, Dartmoor, Bolberry and the Avon Estuary. Although trained as a ceramicist and well known for her watercolour studies of flowers, Sarah aims in this project to liberate the landscape and show something of its wilder nature.

Sarah has been a regular exhibitor at the Mall Galleries in London.

Sam Gingell's dreamlike acrylic paintings are inspired by the vast skies and intimate landscapes of Devon. Colour is used for mood and atmosphere, in compositions offering the viewer the opportunity "to be transported to wherever they want to be".

Sam has painted and exhibited with the Foxhole Painters of Dartington, and produces work to commission.

Inspired by the local landscape and the sea, Maggie responds with charcoal drawings, watercolour paintings, and mixed media panels. Trained in ceramics and a recent convert to printmaking, she combines traditional and experimental techniques, such as printing from a series of intricate clay tiles.

Maggie exhibits with Press Gang, the Salcombe Printmakers, and in Open Studios Events in Devon.
