Keith Stott's fine pastel drawings are well known to regular visitors to Harbour House. Almost photographic in their tonal contrast and attention to detail, they reflect Keith's love of the natural world, and in particular his passion for the wilds of Dartmoor.

Keith is active in the local art community, gives regular demonstrations of pastel techniques at Davidson Fine Art in Totnes and tuition at Harbour House, and is an active committe member and former Chair of the Totnes Art Society. His works sell through exhibitions and galleries in the South West, and he has won The Derwent Prize in The Artist secion of the Patchings Art Festival.

Keith's Dartmoor pastels have recently caught the eye of Ray Balkwill, and will feature in Ray's next book (due Spring 2008).

In addition to his pastels, Keith will show some mixed media works in this year's exhibition..

Angela Thomas will also show a collection of expressive mixed media works, including ink and watercolour, and collage with oils. Her inspiration comes from her South Devon surroundings: ducks and geese in a farmyard, and a woodland garden with glorious foxgloves growing wild.

Watercolourists Sian and Rob Dudley run a busy painting holiday school, but still find time to develop their own work. With a background in microbiology, it's no surprise that in her own work Sian tends towards botanical studies, finding watercolour the ideal medium to portray the delicate play of light on petals and leaves and, ultimately, the transient quality of light itself.

Rob too is drawn to explore the qualities of the westcountry light on the Devon landscape, and he focuses on scenes of moorland and coast.

Rob and Sian have exhibited widely in the South Hams, into Cornwall and as far afield as the Costwolds in recent years.
