Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum presents an exhibition of photographs, including 19th and early 20th Century images of Kingsbridge, Salcombe and the surrounding area. This temporary exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of our local area, including the devastating loss of an entire fishing community 90 years ago at Hallsands. The museum itself holds a vast collection of over 12,000 photographs, including the work of Alfred Edward Fairweather, James Ruth and Mrs Sarah Haynes. |
