Aline Rose, well known locally for her fine line drawings, colourful acrylics and inventive mixed media illustrations of wildlife, presents a new body of illustrations at Harbour House this spring.

She has also been working on a series of illustrated books for children, and there will be a special event in the gallery at 11 am on Saturday 15 May when Aline launches Catterel.

Aline's passion for wildlife and nature is reflected in much of her work, and she prides herself on her attention to detail in her coloured pencil drawings and her pen and ink studies. She also enjoys the challenge of portraying animals in context using acrylic paints, and sees her work as a silent plea for the compassionate treatment of life on our planet.

As well as showing her work at Harbour House, Aline exhibits at Paignton Zoo and with the Totnes Art Society.
