Pilates targets deep postural muscles - strengthening from the inside out. It rebalances the body bringing it into the correct alignment, creating a leaner toned body.
Mental and physical training result in improved body awareness allowing us to build sound movement patterns and to move more efficiently and effectively.
Medical specialists are supportive of the Body Control Pilates methods in the rehabilitation of injuries.
Pilates is effective for all age groups and physical abilities - those requiring gentle mobilisation to aspiring sportsmen.

Vicki qualified in 2006 as a Body Control Pilates Teacher. Originally training in the Art and Science of Movement she spent many years as an active sportswoman. Her interest in Pilates started 10 years ago, when suffering from an accumulation of injuries, she was introduced by her medical practitioner physiotherapist to Pilates.
The rest is history and she has never looked back.
