Some people’s bodies cannot do challenging postures, but everyone can benefit from modifications and the yogic atmosphere.
An upright sitting posture for meditation is taught and encouraged, with cushions and blankets to help, some people prefer to use a chair or even lie down. The sitting is interspersed with walking meditation.
A relaxed silence upheld most of the time allows our minds to release the chattering of ordinary daily life and settle into more spacious, intuitive levels of awareness and deep quiet joy.
Mandala painting (optional) works as a kind of non-verbal journaling, for those who enjoy painting.
