Counselling
with David Humeniuk

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative, Humanistic counselling and am a practitioner member
of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

So what does that mean?

As an integrative counsellor I use my knowledge of a range of counselling theories and techniques to tailor an approach that works for you.

My humanistic approach derives from a fundamental belief that we all have an innate drive towards health and well-being, the capacity to take control of our lives and to make positive changes. Sometimes however we can get ‘stuck’, troubled by feeling that we don’t have control or can’t change our situation.
That’s where my role as a counsellor comes in - to get alongside you and to help you to get back on track.

As a BACP member I undertake to work in accordance with a rigorous ethical framework. This gives you assurance about the standards that I work to,
and safety in the knowledge that I am accountable for the quality of my work.

Whether you want to address events in your past, find a way to dealing with difficulties in the present or just want to learn more about yourself,
I would be pleased to work with you.

I work at Harbour House in Kingsbridge and also at venues in Totnes and Dartmouth. I offer evening appointments.

If you’d like to make an appointment with me, or just to speak to me to find out more about me and the way I work, please contact me on:
